About Us
Randy Spivy
CEO / President
Randy Spivy has been in the financial services industry since 2014, although he started Preserve Financial in 2020. He received his 215 insurance license 8 years ago and then mentored under another agent for 6 years learning his trade from the ground up. Transparency is one of his leading values, as is taking the time to get to know clients. His goal is to give clients peace of mind by eliminating uncertainty.
Randy enjoys helping people pursue their goals and ensuring they can enjoy their retirement years. He started Preserve Financial after finding ways to protect and grow his assets, and wanting to share that information with other people to help them as well.
Randy is passionate, caring, and has a sense of integrity and honesty that many other professionals do not. Randy has been married to Wendy for 28 years, and they have two adult children, one of whom works with them at Preserve Financial. They also have a dog named Bear.
When not assisting clients, Randy Spivy enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, boating, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He stays on top of industry rules and regulations through continuing CEU Credits. In addition, he attends 6-8 conferences per year for agent/product training.
Wendy Spivy
President of Operations
Wendy Spivy is Preserve Financial’s “President of Operations,” and owns and runs it alongside Randy. Her responsibilities include seminar planning, setting appointments, managing expenses, human resources, marketing… You name it, she probably does it or helps with it.
Wendy loves having the opportunity to talk with people on a daily basis, get to know them on a personal level, and help solve their problems. Preserve Financial is family owned and operated, and as a result, treats clients like family.
Prior to entering the financial services industry, Wendy has been a teacher and a school principal. Her qualifications include;
- Has a 2-15 Life, Health, and Variable Annuities License
- BA in Education
- Masters in Early Childhood
- Ed Specialist in Administration
When not working, Wendy enjoys boating, watching sports, reading, and simply spending time with her family. She and Randy have been married for 28 years and they have two adult children, Zakery and Jacob. They also have one dog: A Black Lab named Bear.
Jacob Spivy
Client Account Manager
Randy and Wendy’s son, Jacob, is the Client Account Manager for Preserve Financial. He’s responsible for communication with insurance companies and helping clients move their money to their desired location. He also makes sure client info is updated in time for annual reviews.
Jacob enjoys the satisfaction of seeing his and his family’s hard work paying off through clients’ futures being secured. He could be described as a “doer.” He’s a hard worker and very thorough. He graduated Flagler College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in business, and started working with his parents’ company right out of school.
When not working, Jacob has a love for sports. He lives in Fort Myers and spends most of his time with his girlfriend, Kara, and their dog (a yellow lab named Halo.)
Both Jacob and Kara are involved with a charity called Team Damian, which provides support to children fighting cancer and their families.
Kara Ebeling
Administrative Assistant
Kara, Jacob’s girlfriend, is responsible for selling Medicare products, as well as administrative work. This work entails things like inputting prospect/client data into the system, filing client/prospect folders, answering the phone, organizing and marketing seminar events, and plenty more: She has a lot on her plate. However, she’s hard-working, headstrong, and passionate about what she does.
Kara began doing tasks for Preserve Financial just to help out, but soon realized she genuinely enjoyed the work she was doing. She loves the work environment and the knowledge that what she does is helping retirees secure their futures. Kara has a 2-15 Life, Health, and Variable Annuities License. Like Jacob, she has involvement with Team Damian.
Kara lives in Fort Myers, Florida, with Jacob. When not working, she enjoys reading and spends a lot of time at the gym.
Giving Back to Our Community
Not everyone is as fortunate as us. Because of this, Preserve Financial believes in the importance of giving back to our community. We do this however we can: Charity events, fundraisers, food drives, any way to help that we can.
We partner with quite a few amazing charities here in Florida in order to do so, and we keep these partnerships active. Click on a charity in the list below to learn more about it, and how you can help, too.
